Pi Eta Eta Chapter
The Pi Eta Eta Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority Incorporated was chartered on February 22, 2025, marking a historic moment for the Killeen, Texas, community. The journey began with Felicia Chukes, a member of Sigma Phi Chapter in Waco, Texas, who saw the need for a chapter in Killeen. For nearly a year, she worked tirelessly to gather like-minded women who shared a passion for service and sisterhood. Her vision took a significant step forward when she connected with her co-worker, Tanelle Smith, who eagerly embraced the opportunity. Tanelle's enthusiasm and leadership inspired nine other women, Toni Ali, Anjetta Atkins, Brandy Blatche, LaTana Ford,Shametria Hall,Tenika Lindsay,Vivian Palmer-Smith,Alyce Williams, and Tenia Wilson to join the cause, with an additional member, LaTerrica McCall, who was encouraged to join by LaTana Ford. Another dedicated member, Jovitta Chandler from Theta Eta Chapter, joined upon being stationed at Fort Cavazos, solidifying the foundation of what would become Pi Eta Eta Chapter.
Under the leadership of Charter President Tanelle Smith and Charter Vice President Toni Ali, the 13 founding members are dedicated to making a lasting impact on Bell County. Pi Eta Eta is committed to upholding the principles of excellence, leadership, and service to humanity. With a strong foundation of sisterhood, the chapter seeks to empower its members while actively responding to the community's needs. Through service initiatives, mentorship programs, educational outreach, and growth opportunities, Pi Eta Eta is set to become a beacon of sisterhood and service in Killeen and beyond.
