Gamma Chi Chi Chapter

The Gamma Chi Chi Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated® proudly traces its roots to November 3, 2007, when it was chartered in Nacogdoches, Texas, bringing the legacy of Chi Eta Phi to the Deep East Texas region.

Gamma Chi Chi holds a distinguished place in the history of Chi Eta Phi as the 75th Anniversary Chapter; a milestone that represents not only a celebration of the Sorority’s rich legacy, but also the beginning of a new chapter of service, leadership, and excellence. Adding to this distinction, Gamma Chi Chi was the only chapter chartered during the 75th Anniversary year of 2007, making its chartering a truly historic occasion.

From its inception, Gamma Chi Chi has embraced the ideals upon which Chi Eta Phi was founded: professional excellence in nursing, leadership development, health promotion, education, and service to the community. The chapter was established with a vision of creating a lasting presence in Deep East Texas while empowering nurses to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those they serve.

Over the years, Gamma Chi Chi has remained committed to that vision. Through health education initiatives, community outreach, professional development, charitable service, and partnerships throughout the region, the chapter has continued to embody the spirit of “Service for Humanity.”

Today, Gamma Chi Chi stands as a proud testament to the enduring legacy of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated®. As the 75th Anniversary Chapter and the sole chapter chartered in 2007, Gamma Chi Chi carries a unique place in the Sorority’s history; one that its members continue to honor through excellence in nursing, commitment to community, and a steadfast dedication to service.

From a historic charter on November 3, 2007, to a continuing legacy of service, Gamma Chi Chi remains committed to advancing the mission of Chi Eta Phi and leaving an indelible mark on the communities it serves.
