The History of Psi Phi Chapter
Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc.

Psi Phi Chapter was chartered on August 3, 2002 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana as the second graduate chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc. to be chartered in the state of Louisiana. Community service projects included Relay for Life and Tell-A-Friend community awareness programs. During the Relay for Life for Cancer Survivors the membership participated in activities along with other organizations to collect donations to benefit continued research and education through the American Cancer Society. The Tell-A-Friend program targeted Women ages 65 and older to encourage them to have mammograms. More than 200 women were contacted during this project. The Adopt-A-Beta Program was developed to ensure the success of the undergraduate chapter (Psi Phi Beta) members. All service activities were a success.
